Ash Ketchum is a 15 year old male teenager who during Kalos Roads travels the region of Kalos, experiencing adventures with his best friend and partner Pikachu. During his adventures he meets numerous friends, including Ross Huot, Serena, and Bonnie.
Ash can be described as a caring and brave individual with a large appetite, often shocking some of his friends. He also has much experience from his past journeys in Kanto, The Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova. As such he can be a fierce opponent when fought against, especially when he is determined.

Ash first appeared in Chapter 1: A New Life He was only given a brief scene where he arrived to Kalos on a plane, before the scene cut back to the other main characters.
