Serena is a Pokémon Performer hailing from the Kanto Region. She moved to Kalos when she was 5, leaving behind her childhood friend, Ash Ketchum, who she met at a summer camp the year before she moved to Kalos.
Serena is described as a lovely young lady who values her friends. She is pressured by her mother to be a Ryhorn Racer, but Serena makes her disdain for it well known.
